Additional Thoughts

Overall, the dislikes above are extremely nitpicky and don’t highly affect our opinion. In the grand scheme, Sworkit is a fantastic fitness app that has a clear vision of what it’s trying to do for the world.

Backstory

Ryan Hanna, a self-taught developer, founded Sworkit in 2012 to help people adopt and maintain lifelong healthy habits. In developing this app, he had a goal to keep up with his military training and conditioning.

In 2014, Nexercise Inc. acquired Sworkit to rebuild the platform, and in 2015, they launched Sworkit Kids, a free fitness app for children ages 4–13.

Today, Sworkit Fitness products are App Store leaders. With over 100,000 5-star reviews, Sworkit has an average rating of 4.6 stars on both iTunes and Google Play. To top it all off, “Sworkit was ranked #1 in a scientific study by the University of Florida of 30 iOS fitness apps. In this study, Sworkit was the only app found to meet the majority of guidelines established by the American College of Sports Medicine.”

The Bottom Line

Sworkit is ahead of the curve with its vision to revolutionize the fitness industry. Its easily customizable workouts can be tailored to any body type, shape, and condition. With the overall goal of maintaining a healthy fitness lifestyle, Sworkit understands the importance of education and quality resources and workouts.
