  • The intake survey is very thorough, making the plan very customized to you and your needs.

Disikes

  • The initial free download is deceiving, not allowing users access to most of the features. The free trial is also difficult to cancel. If you decide to bite the bullet, however, the paid subscription offers several bells and whistles. The app contains a decent amount of useful tools and features, such as meal plans and workouts, that can be tailored to the individual.
  • When you complete the (rather long yet simple) intake survey, you find that you have to subscribe to the app which can be frustrating after assuming the app was free based on the app store’s description. The consensus among users is that there are both irregular and regular software and content flaws, making it a decent but lackluster app for the price.

The Bottom Line

If you’re willing to invest in an app to help get your health and fitness on track, Fitonomy may be worth a try, or at least the free trial promotions they do now and again. That being said, other apps either have the same capabilities alone or work well with other free health and wellness apps to achieve similar results.
